{Live Gorge} Holiday Cards
The past few weeks I have ran to the mailbox each day to check for any holiday cards from our friends and family. Seeing my friends babies has brought me so much joy. My heart literally swells seeing my friends from Colorado send holiday cards with their miracle babies and miracle bumps! This year I knew I wanted to share our pregnancy announcement that we are expecting twins in our card. Well, December came and Brian and I still didn’t get around to taking a cute family photo (not to mention Lulu is impossible to get to sit still for a photo.) My fellow twin mama-to-be suggested doing an illustration like she did from Carolyn Kao Designs (she works at Pinterest and is filled with great ideas!). I got hers in the mail and it was so adorable. So Brian and I did the same (imitation is the best form of flattery, right?). So instead of the traditional photos, here are a few ideas for customized illustrations for your holiday cards next year.
1. Rifle Paper Company Create fun and unique holiday themed photos with custom illustrations of your family.
2. Bis For Brown When in doubt, turn to Etsy. The site features tons of custom card makers, including Bis For Brown, which makes fun, whimsical cards.
3. PVE Design I came across this designer on Instagram. I adore her vintage and classic style. Design cards with your family with a traditional holiday and Christmas theme.
4. Scout Mob For anyone out there who is camera shy, a great idea is a general illustration with a holiday theme.
No matter what you choose, these cards will definitely spread some holiday cheer! Happy Holidays and like we said inside our card, hope 2016 brings you double the blessings!
